As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself looking back on a year that has been, in so many ways, unpredictable and transformative. To those who have followed my journey, whether you've been here since the early days or you've just stumbled upon my site by chance, I want to express my deepest gratitude.
This year has been a whirlwind. We faced changes, surprises, and challenges that pushed the boundaries of creativity and resilience. One of the most significant shifts has been the news that Kindle Vella is closing down. The platform gave me an incredible opportunity to write serial novels, an experience filled with both excitement and stress. The thrill of hitting deadlines, the anticipation of readers waiting for the next installment, and the joy of hearing your feedback all kept me focused, energized, and inspired. It was a unique chapter in my writing life—one that I will always treasure.
Though I’m not sure yet how the absence of Kindle Vella will shape the future of my serialized storytelling, I know that a solution will come. I am committed to finishing the ongoing series and will share more about the next phase as soon as I can. What this chapter has taught me is that stories find their way, even when the path changes.
I am also incredibly thankful for all of you—my readers, supporters, and those who simply enjoy the stories without spending a cent. Your encouragement, comments, and presence inspire me to keep posting on this blog, sharing new content, and finding creative ways to connect with you. You make this journey worthwhile, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
So, as we sit down with family, friends, or find quiet moments to reflect this Thanksgiving, know that you are part of the reason I continue to write, create, and dream. I hope your Thanksgiving is filled with warmth, joy, and gratitude for all that this year has brought, even in its chaos.
Thank you for being part of my world. Here’s to stories that inspire, moments that bring us together, and a future where we keep turning pages, no matter where they lead.
With heartfelt thanks,
Jen Sequel
