Hello, dear readers!
It's finally here—my favorite month of the year! October brings cooler weather, changing leaves, and, of course, the countdown to Halloween, my favorite holiday. This month, I’m diving headfirst into two exciting (and slightly daunting) challenges that have become October traditions for me.
First up is Inktober! For those of you unfamiliar, this is a month-long art challenge where I complete one ink drawing per day. It’s a fantastic way to stretch my creativity and sharpen my skills. You’ll likely see some of these ink pieces popping up on my social media throughout the month, so stay tuned if you enjoy art!
Then there’s my 31 Days of Horror movie review series. Each day, I’ll be watching and reviewing a horror movie as part of my countdown to Halloween. This tradition has been running for several years now, and it’s one of my absolute favorites. From classic chillers to modern nightmares, you can expect a wide range of frightful films. I’ll be posting these reviews regularly, so if you're a horror fan like me, you won’t want to miss it!
With these two major projects on my plate, my regular blog posts might be a bit lighter than usual. However, I’m committed to keeping the spooky vibes alive! I plan to continue sharing a spooky recipe every Wednesday for my subscribers—perfect for those Halloween gatherings or a cozy night in with a scary movie.
I also hope to sprinkle in a few Halloween-themed posts and, time permitting, some exclusive spooky short stories for my subscribers. I’ve got a lot brewing this month, but I’ll do my best to keep the blog full of October magic.
Wishing you all a thrilling and creative October! Let’s make this spooky season the best one yet!
Until next time,
Jen Sequel
